When onion dip is not a dip

It’s raining and I had lean ground beef in the refrigerator. There would be no outdoor grilling, so I started to look for a recipe that would let me cook the hamburgers in the oven. I am not a fan of frying them on the cooktop, because of the grease…both in the burgers and all over the cooktop.

I did find a simple recipe, but it was actually good. I had some dry Lipton onion dip mix in the pantry, combined it with the beef, formed the patties, dropped them in a baking dish with fresh carrots and potatoes and covered everything in foil. Thirty minutes at 350 degrees and dinner was ready.

Fast, low points, tasty and easy to clean up. My dream dinner is done.

Talk to you soon.
