'Twas the night...

'Twas the night before weigh-in and all through the house…there is no more eating.  The kitchen closed at 8 p.m. and will not re-open until coffee time tomorrow morning. 

I have a big piece of leftover prime rib in my refrigerator from yesterday’s meal, but I wouldn’t touch it today because it was coated in sea salt.  I know better than to mess around with salt on the eve of my appointment with the scale.

So, I baked some chicken breasts, coated in thyme and black pepper, and had half a sweet potato and a dollop of cranberry sauce and called it a night.  It was actually quite good, but tomorrow night, that prime rib is coming back for an encore performance.
